My name is Don Dingman. My great-great grand father was Barney Dingman, the first town Marshall of Hanover around 1872. On 1894 my Great Grandfather, John Dingman,opened Dingman Drugstore. My Great-Great Uncle and Aunt Otto and Mary Schroeder bought  the Avenue Hotel in 1918. My father was a 1943 graduate of Hanover High School.  

The first picture is the Hanover Gun Club, May 25 1902.  The second is the kitchen of the hotel with Ruby Kiefer, Mary Schroeder and Wavy Turk.  Number three is Otto's son Leroy on the right, his Uncle Herman on the left and The Old Markham, later the Leroy Hotel, is in the background.
